Truly Just Me Poem by Bekah Tav.

Truly Just Me

She turns off the light.
Sits in her room.
Wants to hear music,
But she cannot move.
She is too heavy with pain,
Too tired to see.
Too shy to ask,
If anyone’s seen.
Her heart is broken,
Too shattered to feel.
Everything she had,
Is no longer real.
She needs arms to
Hold her,
Cause she’s falling apart.
She needs words to heal
Her, mend her broken heart.
She needs love to show her,
That there is much more.
She used to reach out,
But she has recoiled.
Can you help her,
Does anyone see,
That this girl I’m explaining,
Is truly just,
Me.
