Truly You Poem by David Vargas

Truly You

When I see you,
You’re simply beautiful
But my mind is a fool…
Lust creeps upon my mind and
Through my eyes I see the dirty things I want to do to you
Though I close my eyes, the disgusting images appears in the depths of my mind
So I pray to my heavenly mother, hoping she will give me a sign
A sign, a signal that everything that I am is going to be okay
I say “I lay my everything to you”
So I pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray
I want to see you
Truly you, the beauty that God molded into you.
When I do, I will hide for I see you
Like a turtle hides in its shell….
