Trump Takes America Hostage Poem by Percy Dovetonsils

Trump Takes America Hostage

Trump takes America hostage.
He keeps her
chained
in the freezing basement
of a large old wooden house
in Cleveland
and feeds her
cat kibble.

He makes her poop
in an empty paint can
and grabs
her private places.

He's held her captive
for more than a year
and is wearing her
down.

In spite of herself
she's beginning to admire
if not love
his sadism, bloated body,
gravity defying combover,
scowling visage.

On the one hand
she daily plans her escape,
on the other
she yearns to bear
the sterile old crank's
heir.

Next year
at this time
she will have either
escaped
and turned him over
to the police

or usurped
Melania

and become his
despised
4th or 5th or 6th wife
or
whatever
she will
be.
