Trust And Betrayal Poem by jay bee

You took me for granted, and
now I'm not there.
but let me say that I no longer care.

I trusted you, I called you a friend,
But where did I go wrong, to stop at this Dead end?
So now I sit, trying to comprehend
while this pain consumes, without end.

So I'm writing this poem
to show you my sorrow as of late,
and who knows, maybe, in time, it shall dissipate
but until that time, I'ld like for you to know,
before, where I stood, is now only shadow.
