Truth In My Poems Poem by Silence Dogood

Truth In My Poems

I say my poems arnt me.
But is that just a lie?
Isnt there some truth.
Just hidden in disguise.

My feeling are placed.
In words I've never known.
Rhymes I didnt intend.
Is there truth within my poems?

I read them over and over.
Looking for a sign.
A hint at my true self.
Hidden in these rhymes.

Its been made complicated.
By my search for whats true.
Is this pain of my own.
Is this how I felt for you?

Its all so confusing.
My life is just a lie.
Is there truth in my poems.
Just hidden in disguise.
