Tulips Poem by Oleg Vorobyov

Tulips

The flaming tulips
Nodding their concave heads
With overtones of nap
Against the undulating winnowing whiffs,
Their streaming stalks
Wrapped in foliate strands, -

The tint, the sheen, the reek, the grace, -
The tulips' throbbing hearts ablaze!
