Turn Again Poem by Diana van den Berg

Turn Again

Brimful of sigh-wonder,
eyes stroke the birth-colours of the morning,
exploding the sparkle in the shimmer-windows
into the music of bubbling laughter, laughter, laughter,

and like a unicorn
prancing
at the gates of peace,
or a vixen protecting her young,
or an albatross winging the wide ocean sky,

the day bursts into bloom.
