I had a dream last night
And baby you were in it
You said 'everything will be okay'
But it isn't.
My life is going down the drain
And I don't know what to do
Nothing you will say
Can ever help me through.
I miss you oh so dearly
I miss you with all my heart
So lets turn back time
And go all the way back to the start
Back before the pain
Back before the fear
I should have been there
To take away your tears
Cause maybe by a ray of luck
You'd still be here.
I had told you many times
That you should never drive
I would gladly take your place
So you could still be alive.
