Tut Tut

The day’s arrived when darkness rules
When danger’s face to face
When strangers are considered fools
And torture’s common place

Is man by nature as a beast?
Are people so defiled?
Has decadence so much increased?
The world’s now running wild

The church can see and says tut tut
At large the rest sees nought
How will it end when if and but
Remains our sad report

Is Jesus lord or those with clout?
Is righteousness passé’
The world must know what God’s about
Before her brood decay

For Heaven’s sake we need to rise
Stand up for what is right
Expose the devil and his lies
Whilst walking in The Light

We can’t play fools with Satan’s own
With those deceived who kill
We need to reach each heart of stone
According to God’s will

We need to talk while others fight
Love when our neighbours hate
Consider those that shun The Light
And in God’s presence wait

Are we to kill and be as these?
Does God not understand?
Let’s fall instead upon our knees
And trust in Jesus’ hand
