Tutu's Canteen Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Tutu's Canteen

It is an experience I share with you readers
Have you ever thought of utilizing the office canteen as your study?
Yes I have and materialized it some days back
It was a thrilling experience
I earned at my expense
I remember how the canteen staff became our buddy
Offering the jug of water to the comfort seekers
Who arrived to escape the blazing sun's magnificent blow?
While it shone all the day with its glow.
Here in Tutu's canteen I found a blissful state
Drinking water free of cost refreshing under the ceiling fan
Protect my skin from the tan.
I express my gratitude to the canteen proprietor for the service
Similar to the experience when blows the breeze
Besides the river where William Words worth visualized the hosts of daffodils.
We shared our company
The blazing heat blew the music of discord
But the inner resilience sounded the music of concord
Harmony prevails
As the clouds trails
Across the blue sky
Like a bird I fly.
