Twelve Good Men - Poem by Colin Coplin

Give me twelve good men,
Twelve good men and one good woman
And let me change the world

One will be a doctor
One an engineer
One will be an architect
One will be a singer
One will be a sportsman
One an economist
One will be a builder
One a scientist
One will be a farmer
One a fisherman
One will be a teacher
And one a policeman

Give me twelve good men,
Twelve good men and one good woman
And let me change the world

One to cure its ills
One to design its thrills
One to plan for tomorrow
One to sing from the heart
One to know victory and defeat
One to fund the future
One to build a dream
One to find true meanings
One to farm the lands
One to fish the seas
One to teach us of ourselves
One to protect and watch us succeed
And the woman will watch over them and remind them why they're there

Give me twelve good men,
Twelve good men and one good woman
And let me change the world
