Twenty Six Steps Poem by Brian Stafford

Twenty Six Steps

Rating: 4.5

Twenty six steps from the water to the trees,
Twenty six steps to the land of birds and bees,
Sunlight shines in spears, all stabbing into the ground,
Insects and other creatures scurry all around,
A sudden gust of wind, gently rustling of the leaves,
Birds like acrobatic missiles, darting through the trees,
A symphonic sound of nature all around,
Peace and tranquillity all waiting to be found.
