They reach for each other
Broken souls that wish to be found
He searched through the light
She paced through the dark
Both opposites, yet the same
He sought the girl of his dreams
She searched for the boy in her mind
Hands stretched through the pass of time
Him scared of the dark
She hid from the light
Was there ever a chance?
Slowly their hands met
Arms embraced
In the time of twilight
She held him through the dark
He hid her from the light
In the grace of twilight
The broken souls found their menders
Over all the odds
They now exist in the place of twilight
