Twins Poem by Edward Veilleux

Twins

Andre and Edward, twin towers indeed.
Left to look after each other when found in need.
Their parents don't support them and never understand.
A pact made with words, as strong as a shaking of hands.
Together united after too many years of turmoil.
Realize that in the end we all are buried under the soil.
This alone is reason to make amends,
For brothers who for too long couldn't even be friends.
Andre is in university, Edward has plans to go,
Andre's in love, Edward's heart has been stomped low.
It's hard to be twenty with nothing to show.
