Two Poem by Nisho Olme

Two

Broken in two, but what can I do,
Running away, then running to you,
Crying alone, and in your soft chest,
I sleep in your arms, what a wonderful rest.
Waking to nothing but sorrow and pain,
To cold empty rooms, my comfort is slain,
I call out your name, where have you gone,
I scream 'til it hurts, and fall on the lawn.
My mom takes me home, and puts me to bed,
And visions of you, still dance in my head,
At night I lay staring at shadows in fear,
Wishing that you, could be with me here.
As daybreak intrudes, upon my cold toes,
I ask where you are, but nobody knows,
While breakfast is served, I vomit in grief,
My mom knocks three times, then cries in relief.
I go back to school, but you are not there,
I go to my class, and try not to care,
But everyone's staring, staring at me,
Everyone's worthless, no one can see.
And no one expects me to give up, to crack,
So everyone's shocked, they're taken aback,
But all I can do, is smile at them,
'Cause I found you laughing and smiling with him.
