Two Dogs And A Cat Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Two Dogs And A Cat

Sunbeams warm upon my face,
A gentle breeze, a happy space.
Susie wags her butt so fast,
Each moment shared, meant to last.

Odie purrs, a rumbling sound,
Contentment spread all around.
A rustle in the leaves outside,
A world of wonder, far and wide.

Then Djangle comes, a joyful leap,
Secrets sweet his licks do keep.
A smell of waffles, fresh and warm,
Shelter from the daily storm.

His happy sighs, a gentle plea,
For company, for you and me.
He gulps the treats with grateful heart,
A simple joy, a work of art.

If we could be like them, so true,
Find delight in all we do.
A simple walk, a tasty bite,
Filled with pure and sweet delight.
