I never expected us to ever be
I never thought that you’d want to be with me
You changed my life, and that is for sure
You saved me from the scars that my heart once bore

Today’s the day for me to tell you this
My heart flutters every time that we kiss
You are my world, you make my heart whole
You know me well, you read deep into my soul

I love your laugh, your smile, even your tears
How we comfort each other as we share each other’s fears
No one understands how we can be together
They all say that we are complete opposites of each other

But have they ever heard, opposites attract
Everyone knows it, it’s a solid fact
That when two hearts come together
They will beat as one always and forever
