Two Hearts Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Two Hearts

Two hearts

Two they are in physics
Two they are in age
Two they are…

They are two women
They are two human
And they are too…

Different…

One is loving and forgiving
Other filled with, bitterness
Inherited from her mother

Shame…

“I gave her stupid necklace to
A charity…” says the bitter…

Charity?
A gift that she gave you
With a kiss on your hand
Humbly trying to build a bridge
Humanely trying to be forgiving

What charity?
What good deed?
And what humanity?

You have learned from that witch
To lie and pretend, as does devil…

How can you look at you in mirror?

Do you have a heart?
Matching her heart?
Can it be two hearts?
