two in one

even though we
only just begun
half the battle is
already won

we may not know what
our feet are to embark upon
but we can train and be in it
for the long run

in our hearts
something has been done
with all the muddled parts
everything really undone

a triumph in earning yours
and a defeat: for you have gained mine.
now we will put an end to these wars
accept triumph and defeat: make the finish line.
