Two Scoops Poem by Timothy McPoetry

Two Scoops

Rating: 5.0

Your bright yellow visage beckons me
Bright rays burning away the remnants of dream
Good morning old friend

Fruit of the vine
Yield of the plain
Both meet in glorious harmony within the bovine offering

Good and good for you?
Some say it is not possible
Your Two Scoops say otherwise
Who am I to argue with your celestial wisdom?

This... is a true masterpiece.. You my friend are the Michelangelo of poetry. Beautifully constructing perfection, your keyboard the chisel. The next generation of poets look to you for guidance.

Ha. Good one Timothy, very clever. I was trying to guess what it was the entire time, glad your authors note cleared it up or I might have spent much longer trying to figure it out. Thanks for sharing.
