Tycoons Poem by Haruna Garba

Tycoons

While you are grappling
with your chicken feed
The tycoons are fuming
with your Congress funds

While you are struggling
with your awful drib-drabs
The magnates are growing
Off the tumults and tariffs

While you are sorrowing
about your perplexing stands
The moguls are milking
with you holding bowls

While you're busy applauding
with mouths open to flies
The barons are looking defiant
with minds full of smiles

While you are leathering
that brainwashing soap
The opportunists are satiated
They've scored a clincher goal
