Ugly Duck Poem by rachel harry

Ugly Duck

Rating: 5.0

i feel so ugly, like im not meant for love, no man to love me
i sit here for hours going over each and every line on my body
staring in the mirror not liking what i see.
i feel so fat, no one can ever understand, what it feels
like, feeling like an ugly duck,

i look at other ladies, wanting to look and act like them,
then i like this guy, can he make me feel like im a swan
because i know there are other ladies out there who look
and act like swans,
but i am overjoyed that i have over come being an ugly duck
because he just told me im the only duck in his pond

Beautiful motivational poem. The saying that beauty lies on the eyes of the beholder is indeed true. From time immemorial, diverse men have been known to fall deeply in love with women of all sizes and dispositions. Lovely poem nicely brought forth from the heart with conviction. Thanks for sharing Rachel.
