Ukraine Seen From Far Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Ukraine Seen From Far

Bombed,
Shelled,
Devastated
And fallen
Lies it Ukraine,
Ukraine
Besieged,
Battled
And fatigued.

Bombarded heavily,
Shelled with a flurry of
Rocket launchers,
Mortars,
Fighter planes
Hovering over,
Sirens wailing,
People running for cover
To save themselves.

Life so much devastated,
Under the rubble and ruins of
Gasping for breath,
Hiding to save,
Moving for a cover
So fraught with misery and misfortune,
A trail of pain and tribulation,
Struggle and suffering,
How to save mankind from mindless war?
