Un-Alone Poem by Melanie Walendowsky Baker

Un-Alone

I don't think I can
be un-alone.
I don't think I can
open my soul.
I've tried,
I know I have.
But I don't think I can
face it all again.
The echoes still resound
of lost promises and hopes.
But my mind and my soul
never will cope.
With echoes again,
untruth and unlove,
after dreams that are shared
and my soul that is bared.
