Unawnsered Questions - Poem by Dixon Irene
Why? Why would you do it?
How could you break my heart?
Where are you going?
Have you thought about this?
Answer me please
I am asking you
as you walk out the door
are you sure?
Muttering a breathless yes
you turn and walk out of my life.
I wonder, Does he really feel this way?
Strangley I think I already know the answer.
How long has this been going on?
When was he going to tell me?
Who is she?
Does he care about her the way he says he does me.
I guess all of my questions
are better off unanswered
but really couldn't they
be as apparent as the questions themselves?
