Unbearable Poem by Saleem Tharani

Unbearable

I am your nation and I shall speak,
You respect me? Then my advice you shall seek,
I am unable to bear, so while a family you make,
Add not to my plight, thoughtful will you make.

Pledge in your best efforts that you will try,
save me, let me not die, is my only cry.
Please make me not to bow, rather make it short,
pledge it now, the water is up to my throat.

The song, 'the small family is a happy family',
You shall sing, and don't let it go into the trash.
Make me proud, while its melody comforts me,
I am your nation, and proud I shall be.
