Unclenched Hands Poem by Satish Verma

Unclenched Hands

Rating: 5.0

An insight explodes.
It was god's time. I will feel like
lighting a pyre to test the truth.

To come out of the gutter
and ask, did not I complete the
punishment to remain human?

Today the sunlight was pale.
I kissed the moon as if touching
the soul of a goddess. You smile.
