Uncompleted Song V.V Final (Dedicated To Kelsey C.) 12/17-18/10

At the crack of dawn
I found myself
Lying beneath the palm trees
With its branches laying low
As if no breath of life contained within
I heard
Waves crashing by and by
As if they cried by my side
I felt
Sands of golden lay cold
As if Death’s hand had just brushed past by

There I laid
There I prayed
Hoping this were not
But eh foretold Hell
I was told of

Turning and twisting
My head toward 12 o’clock
Where the rebirth of the sun
Came climbing to her post
Way up high in the sky
Then I saw…
I saw I was not alone

At the crack of dawn
Where first light touched there
Where first sight woke me here
A hunched silhouette with a heavy head
Seemed to be
Sitting by the fellow’s trusted companion
Patting its head
Like a dear little puppy

As time rose
The start of life
Begun again
As the sun rose
To kiss the clouds above
The figure opened
Its box with the click of its key

I still bore myself stock-still
At the same spot I woke
To this delusional Hell
I still
Heard, touched, and smelled
Nothing but the sickening salt
Which stuck its devil’s arrow
Through my only lonesome heart

Until that day
When the song of times
Had only but begun
To heal
What was left
Of my lone, broken soul

It started as a whisper
Yet flowed with a soft care
It shimmered while it grew
Into a ferocious scare
Flickering here and there
For…
Staccatos, crescendos
Rose in the air
The withering palm trees
Seemed to live back to its young care
The pale, golden sand
Seemed to shimmer like silver
Even the crying waves
Seemed to beat back and forth
Back and forth
As if its heart had come back
Again

These strings
Embroiled within the box
The piano
I found myself
Walking slowly toward morning’s light

This song
This music
Seemed to sing
For th edead
For the living
For the world
As it also
Brought thinking
This only but Heaven I had wished before

It described
It pictured
Perspiration flowing down
Love poured deep within
As the contents of this song
Bore a Medusa’s glare
As the dynamics
Brought it sorrow and joys sung
By the mermaid for her sailors
Captivated
Just like I.

It were but a love
Indescribable
Yet a beauty
In front of the morning’s glare
As the cloak flapping in the wind
Hung its finger close to the silhouette
Finally letting go

There
Where I stumbled upon this feat
There
Where I reached toward the light
A curtain
Dropped to the floor
The cloak
Whipped past my eyes
For that time
Then and now
I found myself gasping
For a star sat in front of me

Thrashed all about
My insides squirmed about a doubt
With this silhouette
Had just turned into
A beauty, unannounced

First
It were the white, soft feathered wings
Second
It were the glasses hanging from the nose
Third
It was an angel
A girl with wings
Intensifying the day here

It got me
Healing
With just this song
With faith and hope
Captivated within the core
As it scored
And drove off
The devil’s arrow
Within the contents of my heart

Beating
Back and forth
Flapping
Far and near
This angel
Made, imprinted, created
A love
Indescribable
Yet a beauty
Right before me
Bringing my heart to a stop
Clinging at the very top
As the silence shivered in the air
Only beating once more
Only breathing once again
Until you, the angel
The one I spoke of here
Completes it with me,
Dear Kelsey Corro.
