From the beginning there was one thing you always asked.
That was to give you my unconditional love.
I never fully understood then what it meant.
Because I took for granted you will always be there.
But today as you walk away leaving me behind.
Having torn my heart beyond repair
And as you ask me to sacrifice my precious love for you;
I now realise I have loved you unconditionally all along.
I love you in spite of whether I see you or not.
I love you regardless you beside me or not
Just because you are not here doesn’t mean you are not near.
You know that in my heart we are never apart.
You are in my air as the silence of my breathe.
My love for you is unconditional
As you are always on my mind, but will never ask you to think of me.
I think of you from night to day and day to night.
You will never know I am thinking of you every moment even right now.
My love for you is unconditional
Because you know I can love only you, whether you return my love or not.
My love for you is unconditional,
Because I will always hold on to all your promises and words;
Will remember and cherish them over and over again everyday
Even though I know they are all just broken promises.
My love for you is unconditional,
Because I will love you till the end of time.
It will withstand any test, even the test of time.
I will still be in love with you even when I am no longer a memory to you.
I will see you in all your beauty and majesty everyday
Even when I don’t cross your mind for days or months.
My love for you is unconditional.
Because I will hold on to the dreams we built together even if there is no hope.
The house we hoped to buy, the place we hoped to live,
The baby girl we hoped to have, the wife I hoped you to be,
Will always be the life I hope to have, even if you have gone far away.
I don't think you will ever fully understand;
How you've touched my life and made me who I am.
I don't think you could ever know just how truly special you are;
That even on the darkest nights you are my brightest star.
I don't think you will ever fully comprehend;
How you almost made my dreams come true;
And how you've opened my heart to love and the wonders it can do.
I don't think you could ever feel all the love I have to give;
And I'm sure you'll never realize you are my will to live.
I wish you had loved me unconditionally in the same way you asked me.
