UNCOVER

Everyday I battle with myself
My soul is weary and In constant struggle with my thoughts
A lot of questions popping up
Would you do this or not?
Will you let go and hold on?
I hope am right with this decision
Seems nothing's real here.

I let my heart out
To be loved by the person of you
I thought I've found the one
Got to my final destination
Though you clam to love
But all was deceit
You spoke the words, but all were lies.

We agreed to walk this path of love
Later got to know am alone
The journey wasn't only lonely but coupled with pain
Had to retrace my steps back
Because at some point, my strength fails me.

No more lies
Come outta darkness and let the light of truth shines on you
Truth is, sometimes I wish we never met
But had to let that behind
To know the truth
Love is the greatest
But aren't blind to the imperfections
Ready to forgive, if only you can just be true.
