Undaring Love Poem by courtney metcalf

Undaring Love

She met this boy with a beautiful smile
He had brown eyes,
Curly hair that ran wild
He drove her around
Backroading in his car
He didn't have to drive fast
Because she was falling hard
Safety was out the window
She didn't need to pretend that she cared
She loved the danger in his love
Love she should have never dared
It was crazy and intense
But she thought it was for real
When it all fell apart
A broken-hearted girl was revealed
Blinded by love
She didn't see the pain she put herself through
Now that it had ended
She knew what all she had to do
Pick up the broke pieces
Seal back up her heart
Get on with her life
And try to restart
