Trapped Poem by courtney metcalf

Trapped

Rating: 4.0

Year after year, you'll find me here
When what I want most is leave.
But years pass by, and man, they fly
However, despite my failed efforts, I do believe...
That I will soon go
My worries will slow
And instead of on-flowing rivers of grief...
I'd feel full of pride, happy inside
For I will have many goals to succeed.
Stuff that I am bound to here,
I will shed that fear,
And I'll be free to run.
But for now I am trapped,
And will have to adapt,
To the situation till that day comes.
