Under The Bed, In The Closet, And Deep Within Poem by Devon Tremblay

Under The Bed, In The Closet, And Deep Within

Confusion and Denial
Can you walk through this world with a smile
It's like a Dream
Nothing is what it seems

How Could I throw you away
All This Time I was Walking away
How Foolish I am To Disconnect myself
I created this Torment, I made this Hell

Released and Diseased
Can you run with blistered Feet
Even if I crawled to the Bottom
My heart would Still give in
Even if I go back to the Start
I will still see you with a Broken Heart

Filled with Anger
My Kind of Monster
I'm losing the Feeling
My inner Demon
I see where these tracks are leading me
A Life of pain and apathy

I dropped my joy in the Mud
Can you feal the Hate boiling in my blood?

Infected and Purified
Take my sin and Hang it up to dry
I surrender my imperfect body unto you
Keep on Cleaning until all you see is you
A Reflection of Christ Almighty
Make me Invisible, to make me see
Something beyond myself
Beyond this Torment, Beyond this Hell
