Under The Sun Poem by Ekwebelem Chidiebere

Under The Sun

If it rises in the morning
we should go out for skin burning.
a beautiful day, you would see
so good for you and me.

If it rises at noon,
we should be together soon.
to hide away from the heat
under the cashew we should meet.

If it remains towards evening,
I would be there when you come leaning.
we would take a stroll around town
the sun might not see tomorrow, let's love now.
