Undetected Poem by Adens Kamwi

Undetected

The night hides the evil sin
Here he stands above the victim
Silence rings as she stops to scream
If only it were a dream
But it's not you see
He lost his stability
Hungry for evil he started seeking
Until he found an easy victim
Dragged to the woods in rainy weather
Trees and shrubs conceal the danger
Here he takes out his knife
Readily taking away her life
Dragging her down to the river's edge
Where she meets the others dead
Yes he has killed before
And yes he will kill some more
No one walks through these woods
They are all too comfortable in these neighborhoods
He straddles back to his pickup truck
Unseen, unheard he has some luck
Another day he will be back
With someone else to attack
But for now his going home
To his wife and teenage son
A tax paying citizen well respected
That's why he goes undetected
