Undying Love Poem by Jamie Winfrey

Undying Love

Rating: 4.5

We live in two different countries
Thousands of miles away
But that doesn't matter
Because you're here, in my heart

From the moment we met
I knew you were special
Your charm, your wit, your looks
Is all that it took, before I was hooked

Our lives will never have the same reflection
Separated by cultures, going in different directions
But they say true love has no boundaries
For this, I know is true
Cause I traveled across the world
Just to get close to you

Only time will tell
Where we go from here
But for now, I will cherish
Every moment we share

I will take the good and the bad
The happiness and sorrow
Cause nothing can change
My feelings for you

True love doesn't end
When times get rough
And sometimes life can be
Pretty damn tough

But forever etched in my heart
Is where you will be
And that's something
No one can take away from me

Beautiful depiction of true love, well articulated and insightfully penned from the heart with conviction. Indeed true love doesn't end because true love is a spiritual experience. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
