Your soft touch upon my heart
Soft fleece
Unexpected Friendship
Gentle caress
Soothes my spirit
Warms my body
Shelters my weary soul
Moves me from hollow sadness
For a moment I am whole
Feeling loved and needed
Tears stir in me
Wishing I could give you more of me
Happy and sad
Washing past sadness
I try not to think of your leaving oneday
I would miss you desperately
But I love you whenever you're here
Whenever you are here, its just me and you
Sharing a small moment of our day
God must have sent you..
Because I know deep down it is this:
I wouldn't have made it without you
Your friendship has been a blessing
I see it that way
In quiet moments I say my thanks for you
And hope the thoughts reach you as smiles
Knowing your life means something to another
However far away
It's a world we share
