Unfaithful Love! Poem by VaishakSeetharam Dattani

Unfaithful Love!

I had a date, so called a dinner mate,
Your Cat eyes and red lips, I am so late,
A weekend with work later than eight,
Time so priceless, you did not for me wait.

Love of the day, dream of the night,
You were d'one in every kiss, I ought to bite,
Every curve every climb, turned left & right,
Be it hills o mountain, I hugged you so very tight.

You hated cigarettes, i quit smoking,
Disliked me for reasons many, stopped i thinking,
Far have I gone, seven seas have you moved on, Baby I am sinking,
Mirror so cheats, when I look at it, it still shows you looking at me winking!
