I feel so numb

My heart is cold and devoid of happiness

I am completely spent of emotion

My heart was full of joy

Now it’s replaced by sorrow

I am so distress by the loss of another

This experience has left me empty

My spirit crushed

I am full of anguish

I suffer so

I must move on remember the good times

I must begin to imitate happiness

So know one will know

How hollow I am inside

I am in a deep state of depression

I have no worth

Nothing really matter anymore

The pain of having loved then lost

Why open your heart to anyone

If they can break it so easily

The heart

Aches

The soul

Weeps

The body

Cries out in pain

But my mind

Feels nothing

It’s numb

Lifeless

Cold

Maybe that’s the way it should be

So it will be easier to move on

Grow up

Be a man

Easier said than done
