My entry into the world is a perpetual surprise
Particularly for me, as I find myself altogether unfit
Of course no one consulted me, as is the case with all humans
Utterly unguarded is each human birth
Yet the lucky ones make the world suit them
I fondly wonder if the world is the God's or the Devil's
When brimstone blazing put me in agony grievous,
I called out: ‘O Lord God! art Thou in pact with the Devil? '
