Unfortunate Love

Rating: 3.8

Can’t you see what’s in my eye?
That’s love for what I die,
I want you here by my side -
A place in your heart where I hide.

The first time I met you at the party;
From then on, I want to say something hearty,
But I was afraid and couldn’t flash -
Afraid of losing, whether misfortune got plus.

I can’t think and never did I thought
That we might be apart by God,
I don’t know whether I would be able to say
But will love and want you everyday.

You are my joy and you are my pain
And I find nothing else to gain,
Give me courage and be with me
I beg: don’t depart me eternally.

Yet I know that it might not be fair
To call you beside and to be near,
Still be with me if you can,
And let me be your only man.

It's a serious poem with an easy vein. The line that appealed to my heart was 'And let me be your only man. ' Others...chalta hai... Keep writing...: -) N.D.
