Unhappy Weather Poem by Dr BHABAGRAHI MOHARANA

Unhappy Weather

Rating: 5.0

UNHAPPY WEATHER

Torrential rain bade adieu
To the setting Sun;
In a water-cooled ditch,
Centred by brick walls,
The frogs made merry
Croaking with mates.
Oh, lo! someone's victimized
In a snake's mouth.

The cry was not audible,
Perhaps to its fellow beings.
The scene is anewed in man's milieu
Bone's bother of brothers.

Day after night, day after night;
One by one comes to play,
To meet the snake's hunger
In the bad unhappy weather.
