Torrential rain bade adieu
To the setting Sun;

Frost and frost covered the sky.
Path is fully unseen to me.
Eyes are incapable to focus ahead,
Let alone go through the way.

Time, winking on the clock, says to me,
'Don't wait for me, for I won't come back.
Tomorrow never comes to cope you plant a tree,
To pluck fruits of ripe days with a bending back.

କାଳିଆରେ ଦେହସିନା ପାରୁନିଯାଇ ଶିରିକ୍ଷେତରେ
ହେଲେ ମୋର ମନ ଦେଖେ ତୋଚକାନୟନ ସବୁଦିନେ।

ହାତ ମୋ' ତୋଳିନି ଫୁଲଟେ ତୋପାଇଁ

Everywhere I find the Raj of violence,
Honesty has surrendered to treachery.
The Simple suffer and the crafty crowned,
The sun of virtues eclipsed by sinny clouds.

The black spot on her
Is undermined
In the full moon night.
Her light dispels others'
