Unheard Poem by Mary Grace Gacusan

Unheard

That smile in your lips
was gone.
That bright light in your eyes
no longer shines.
That cheerful heart,
now it's sad
That amazing mind,
it's no longer wild.
But that silence in
your screams,
Too loud yet no one
can hear.
If only they can hear,
that pleading voice within.
What a happy news
that your soul has conquered life's excruciating pain.
