Unity? Poem by Chimi Chavez

What is happening. The Statue of Liberty is portrayed as Freedom, Liberty and Justice for all.
Is it considered
freedom when you deport people because of their race?
Is it me?
I thought that meant no matter the background, race, and heritage, we're all equal.
Guess it was me.
In the end of the day, we all bleed the same colour.

Why do the so called citizens of a "free country" just let this happen?
Why are we voting for inhumane political figures?
We are having a WWIII.
Have we not learned our lesson?
We are now fallen countries, not united in unison as we were promised.
I'd rather the world end than unite by bloodshed and war.

Will now be a part of history books known as yet another World War?
