Unnecessary, yet sufficient;
The voice echoes, from eternity
Yet remains unheard.
Always right,
yet riddled with doubt,
A vow—
Entered into wedlock.
Yet forever unwed.
The covenant:
to follow al-Haq—
A sacred bond,
so often broken.
al-Haq calls gently,
Like whispers on a desert wind,
Asking, "Am I not your Origin?
Your Destination? "
And I, the sworn, hesitate—
Bound, yet unbound.
I hear the echo, faint but steady,
Resonating within my heart.
It seeks to guide me forward,
Through veils of separation,
Beyond the illusions of duality.
But still, the promise falters,
The union remains a yearning.
In exile, I find my redemption—
From ignorance and negligence
Of my fitrah—my true essence.
