Unnoticed - Poem by Merlene Campbell

Invisible until I am needed
I wait watching the conceded
Their lives are so important
Yet mine is more unnoticed

Alone yet not lonely confidence is growing
Watching all the noticed get their lives promoted
Mine is to endure those who are unsure
Yet as stable as I am the more the
People yearn for what I’ve always had
Yet I am not so glad
Neither am I sad
I am just who I am
