Unplugged Poem by Laurence Overmire

Unplugged

Rating: 5.0

To be disconnected
Pulled from the wall of
Family relationship
Unable to fire electrons
Up and down thin
Conductors, no grounding

For a live wire

Spinning out of control
Lethal shock
Without warning
Unclaimed bodies
To litter a house
Built on unreasonable

Expectation.
