Unraveling Of Ages Poem by Amanda May Moore

Unraveling Of Ages

life, death, single,
together, breath, start,
end.

black, light, high,
low, right, left, yes,
no.

awake, tired, correct,
strong, short, long, sow,
grow.

hate, love. heaven, hell.
good, bad. happy, but not
mad.

straight, crooked, winter, spring,
empty, full. up, down,
ground.

bottom, top, easy, hard,
strife, new life, blessing
progressing.

times: sad, joyful. you,
me, he and she
agree.

count, nothing, all, same
different, discount debts
regrets.

go, come, away, gone.
erased, renewed and glued
include:

yellow and blue, cheery
and new. and sorrys and
I do's!

laughter, and tears, dreams,
and fears. and fights and
hugs.

hello today, goodbye tomorrow,
clouds of gray and sorrow
out

and in, through and over,
gone in song, long, and
sober.

loosely tied, tightly gripped,
torn and worn, but never
ripped.

a heart of gold. bought
and sold, looking to be
old

and loved, and thought
of. yes. all of the
above.

what more could come of
all of this love that is
unraveling

traveling around, feet off
the ground, failed to be
bound

with the world that is to turn
into you with a fresh view, a
debut

for more that we can pour
through the open door, hope of
ending

war.
