Unrequited Desire By Gio Masserati

A men that peruses
Persues
Insistently
Persistent demands
Erased from my mind's eye

Memory lapses so easily
Dropping by the wayside
Meaningless attempts
Futile and unrequited
Folly to the wind

Pure lust
I know it's look
And stare

Irreconcilable
Unrequited Desire

Consume by eye and need
Possession not love

I will be Free

No cage will ever contain

Lions, wild horses
Running free
Late or early
time is vague

Why to tame?

Ever do set me free
To roam
Running free

No key
Set me free free free

So free to see me

O man
o my

It's you I desire
And You

Only you two

10,000 Angels
appear at my bedside
Or one
It's so blindingly clear

There's work to be done
A jubilation of sorts
In the middle of the night
When doe sleep

Angels moving
Eyes open to a close
Whispers in the morning
Pray my heart out
to You for you

Ease my wooded cross
to bare a soul

Magnetic waves of length
Flowing
Into rivers

Pouring
Into oceans

Releasing
Into aqua blue
White sanded beach

Spanning
across global waters edge
